By downloading or using Welding Gas Cylinder Tracker, you agree to these Terms. The app is intended for users aged 18 or older.
Welding Gas Cylinder Tracker is an independent recordkeeping and planning tool for welding-gas cylinders. It can record cylinder details, suppliers, ownership or rental relationships, serial numbers, capacity, status, costs, refills, exchanges, notes, activity history and local reminders.
The app does not measure pressure or gas quantity, monitor or scan a cylinder, validate a serial number, certify materials or personnel, track consumable lots or certificates, determine legal ownership, or decide whether a cylinder, gas, handling method or workplace is safe or compliant. It does not replace inspection, labels, supplier instructions, training, professional judgment or applicable law.
The free version remains usable without a purchase and supports up to two active cylinders. Returning or archiving a cylinder removes it from active inventory and makes an active slot available. The app contains no advertising.
A one-time non-consumable App Store purchase permanently unlocks unlimited active cylinders for the purchaser’s Apple Account, subject to normal App Store purchase verification, refund and revocation rules. There is no recurring charge or automatic renewal for new customers.
If a wallet contains more than two active cylinders without a verified permanent unlock, the app does not delete or silently archive them. The user selects up to two active cylinders to keep managing. Other active cylinders remain visible and may be exported, returned, archived or deleted, but cannot otherwise be edited until the permanent unlock is purchased or restored, or they move within the free allowance. The selected managed cylinders cannot be repeatedly swapped to simulate unlimited access.
The permanent unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store as com.gooduse.weldinggaswallet.pro.lifetime. The United States reference price is US$2.99, with an App Store Connect geopriced schedule for other storefronts. The app does not calculate customer prices from device location and displays StoreKit’s localized storefront price. Choosing Upgrade opens Apple’s purchase sheet directly; the app has no separate in-app price screen. Apple’s purchase sheet shown before confirmation is authoritative for the amount, taxes and other transaction details.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. The purchase does not renew and does not require a later subscription payment to keep the permanent feature unlock. Deleting the app does not remove the purchase from your Apple Account. Use Restore purchases in the app to check for an eligible non-consumable purchase previously bought with the current Apple Account. Apple is authoritative for entitlement status.
A refund, revocation, failed StoreKit verification or other App Store action may affect the purchase entitlement according to Apple’s rules. Any legacy subscription previously sold for the app is not offered to new customers and remains governed by the terms that applied to that transaction until it ends.
Apple processes payments and refund requests under its terms and applicable law. GoodUse Studios does not receive full payment-card details and does not control App Store refund decisions. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Core wallet records remain on your device unless you initiate an export. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for protecting exported files and device backups. GoodUse Studios does not operate a cylinder-record server and cannot recover a lost local wallet or a separately deleted backup.
The iOS app validates a selected backup before replacing the wallet and rejects unsupported, invalid or larger-than-5-MB files. A user without the permanent unlock may restore a valid backup containing more than two active cylinders, but must select up to two to manage; the rest remain visible and read-only as described above. A failed restore leaves the current wallet unchanged. Backups do not include StoreKit purchase entitlement.
“Wallet” describes a personal recordkeeping tool. The app is not a payment account, stored-value product, financial service or marketplace. GoodUse Studios does not sell, fill, rent, lease, exchange, certify or take ownership of physical cylinders or gas through the app.
Use the app lawfully. Do not misuse it as an official certification, inspection or compliance system; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malicious code; interfere with billing or store services; or use the app in violation of applicable law.
Apple, GitHub Pages and user-selected file providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies. App Store payment services, hosted legal pages and file destinations supplied by those providers are outside GoodUse Studios’ direct control.
GoodUse Studios intends to enable the iOS app in every App Store country or region Apple makes available to it except China mainland. China mainland is excluded unless and until the required local filing is completed and accepted. Actual availability can still depend on App Store support, local legal or registration requirements and Apple’s decisions. GoodUse Studios may change availability where necessary, subject to applicable law and without limiting acquired or mandatory consumer rights. Access while travelling or an existing installation does not guarantee that every purchase feature or App Store service will be available in every location.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available and without warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. GoodUse Studios is not responsible for decisions based on unverified entries, unsafe cylinder handling, user-selected sharing, loss caused by device failure or deletion, or third-party services outside its control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.
For iOS, these Terms are between you and GoodUse Studios, not Apple. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where required. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of the applicable provisions concerning the licensed application.
We may update these Terms when the app, purchase model, legal requirements or services change. Material changes will be handled as required by applicable law and platform rules. The effective date above identifies the current version.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to GoodUse Studios in Ontario, Canada, without overriding mandatory consumer protections or jurisdiction rules that apply to you.
