This policy explains the data practices of the Promise Guard mobile application. It does not describe the independent practices of Apple, Google, your device manufacturer, cloud-backup provider, email provider, file-sharing destination or any provider whose promise you record.
Promise Guard can store information you choose to enter, including a provider or company name, the promise description, dates, amounts, references, notes, requested next steps, outcomes, reminders and supporting files. This information may contain personal or confidential material depending on what you choose to add.
Promise records and supporting items are stored in the app’s local storage on your device by default. Promise Guard does not require a GoodUse Studios account, and GoodUse Studios does not operate a server that receives or stores the contents of your promise records as part of the app’s normal record-keeping functions.
Your operating system, device backup settings or services you select may separately copy or process app data. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services.
Nothing leaves the app through its share, report or backup features unless you initiate the relevant action. If you export, back up or share a report or supporting file, the destination you choose may receive and retain it. GoodUse Studios does not control that destination. Review the report and remove unnecessary information before sharing.
Apple or Google processes purchases and subscriptions. GoodUse Studios does not receive your full payment-card details. The store may provide transaction and entitlement information needed to confirm access, such as product, transaction, renewal or entitlement status. Store data is governed by the applicable store’s privacy policy.
If you enable reminders, the app asks the operating system to schedule notifications on your device. Notification content is designed to be neutral, but lock-screen visibility depends on your device settings. File access is requested only when you choose to add, import, export or share a file. The current product design does not require location permission, call recording or microphone access.
Promise Guard contains no advertising and is not designed to create an advertising profile from your promise records. The app does not sell the contents of your records.
Local records remain until you delete them in the app, replace local data through an import action where offered, or remove the app and its local data. Copies you exported, shared or backed up must be deleted from their destinations separately. Operating-system backups may persist according to your platform and backup-provider settings.
Because there is no GoodUse Studios account or record-content server, GoodUse Studios normally has no server-side promise-record content to retrieve or delete. See the data deletion explanation for practical steps.
Promise Guard is a general-audience personal record tool and is not directed to children. Do not use it to store information about a child unless you have an appropriate lawful basis and authority to do so.
Protect your device with a passcode and current system software. Use care when adding sensitive documents, enabling lock-screen notifications, exporting backups or sharing reports. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
You may use the app in different regions and languages. Your chosen sharing, backup and store services may process information in other countries under their own policies. Promise Guard does not determine which laws apply to your situation.
This policy may change if the app’s data practices change or legal requirements develop. The updated version will show a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel when required.
Email lrodeveloperr@gmail.com with privacy questions. Identify the app and platform, but do not send confidential promise-record content unless it is necessary and you understand the risks.
