Disconnect QuickBooks without deleting completed evidence

An organization owner can disconnect a company from the Service’s Companies or Settings area. The Service attempts to revoke the Intuit authorization, deletes its locally stored QuickBooks access and refresh token material, and marks the company disconnected. Disconnecting stops future QuickBooks access but does not delete completed control runs, findings, exports, audit history, or the organization account.

You can also review and remove connected applications from your Intuit account. Removing access at Intuit does not by itself delete information already retained by the Service.

Delete the organization account and Service data

An organization owner can request deletion inside the Service:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Data deletion.
  3. Select Request deletion.
  4. Enter the displayed confirmation phrase and confirm.

The request disconnects QuickBooks, cancels active Service billing where available, blocks new use, and schedules customer-controlled Service data for deletion within 30 days.

If you cannot sign in, email info@worksbienstudios.com from the account email address. State that you are requesting deletion for Deposit Exception Checker and identify the organization. Do not send an Intuit password, OAuth code or token, payment-card details, QuickBooks export, or confidential accounting records. We may verify your identity and authority to act for the organization before processing the request.

What is deleted

Subject to the exceptions below, deletion covers organization and workspace records, user memberships, encrypted QuickBooks token material, completed control runs, findings, workflow notes, stored evidence metadata, audit records controlled by the customer, sessions, and subscription linkage held by the Service.

Timing and limited retention

Customer-controlled Service data is scheduled for deletion within 30 days after a verified request or the end of the service relationship. Backups age out under the applicable backup cycle and are not restored except for disaster recovery. Limited records may be retained longer where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting, payment, or legal obligations. Retained information remains restricted to those purposes.

Deletion from the Service does not delete or change records in QuickBooks Online. The Service is read-only; make any QuickBooks record changes directly in QuickBooks Online.

Cancel billing

Deletion requests are not a substitute for resolving invoices already due. If in-product cancellation is unavailable, contact info@worksbienstudios.com. The Service has no free trial at launch.
