These Terms govern use of the Deposit Exception Checker (the “Service”). By creating an account, connecting a company, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

The Service

The Service performs read-only checks of supported QuickBooks Online CompanyInfo, Accounts, Invoices, Payments, and Deposits. It creates exception findings and evidence exports. It does not post corrections or otherwise write to QuickBooks. You must investigate findings and make any correction directly in QuickBooks through an authorized person.

The launch scope supports United States and Canadian companies, USD and CAD observations, and the documented rules. Items outside the stated entity, country, currency, or observation scope are not checked merely because they exist in QuickBooks.

Accounts and authorization

You must provide accurate information, protect access, and promptly remove people who are no longer authorized. You may connect only a QuickBooks company you are authorized to access and analyze. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriate handling of accounting data and exported evidence.

There is no free trial. A paid plan is required before connecting or scanning a production QuickBooks company. The applicable price, company limit, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation controls are shown before purchase. If a subscription expires, new connections and scans stop. Access to existing completed evidence may continue as described in the product at that time and as required by law.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass tenant or entitlement controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with availability, scrape or overload endpoints, resell access without written permission, use findings as a substitute for professional judgment, or process information you are not authorized to use.

Findings and professional responsibility

The Service is an accounting control aid, not accounting, tax, legal, audit, or financial advice. Findings are indicators based on the available data and configured rules. They may contain false positives, omit matters outside scope, or be affected by incomplete, delayed, changed, or unsupported QuickBooks data. You are responsible for reviewing source records, maintaining backups, applying professional judgment, and deciding whether and how to correct the books.

Availability and changes

The Service depends on Intuit, hosting, network, and other third-party systems. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable technical limits for security or reliability. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Intellectual property

WorksBien Studios Inc. and its licensors own the Service, software, documentation, branding, and rule implementation. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your organization’s internal business purposes during an authorized term. They do not transfer ownership.

QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. This independent Service is not endorsed or sponsored by Intuit.

Confidentiality and privacy

Each party will protect the other party’s confidential information with reasonable care and use it only for the relationship. Our processing of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that every accounting exception will be found. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorksBien Studios Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or opportunities arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the fees paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using the Service, disconnect QuickBooks, and cancel as provided in the account controls. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or where continued service would expose us or others to harm. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Contact and changes

We may update these Terms and will publish the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions may be sent to info@worksbienstudios.com.
