Welding Gas Cylinder Tracker is a cylinder-only, local-first wallet for welders. It does not scan cylinders, use the camera, track consumable lots or certificates, read pressure sensors, or make safety or compliance decisions.
No account, demo login, external hardware or sample file is required.
Free supports up to two active cylinders. The app contains no advertising. Returning or archiving a cylinder frees an active slot.
The iOS app offers a one-time non-consumable Pro purchase through the App Store. Pro permanently unlocks unlimited active cylinders for the purchaser’s Apple Account, subject to Apple’s verification, refund and revocation rules. The United States reference price is US$2.99, with geographic storefront prices controlled by App Store Connect. Choosing Upgrade opens Apple’s purchase sheet directly; the app has no separate in-app price screen. Apple’s purchase sheet shows the authoritative localized amount, currency, taxes and transaction details. There is no recurring charge or automatic renewal.
Use Restore purchases to check for an eligible permanent unlock bought with the current Apple Account. Deleting the app does not remove the purchase from that Apple Account.
If Pro is not recognized, confirm that the device is signed into the purchasing store account, connect to the internet, tap Restore purchases, and restart the app. If the problem continues, contact support without sending payment-card details.
Use the iOS app’s Backup action to export a JSON wallet file and choose a Files destination. On another iPhone or iPad, use Restore and select the file. The app accepts supported, internally consistent files up to 5 MB. A free user may restore more than two active cylinders, but must select up to two to manage; the remaining active cylinders stay visible and read-only until returned, archived or deleted, or Pro is purchased or restored. A rejected restore leaves the current wallet unchanged. Keep exported files secure. GoodUse Studios cannot recover a lost local wallet from a server. Backup files do not contain the Pro entitlement; restore the permanent unlock separately through the App Store.
Device alerts are optional local notifications. If permission is denied, enable notifications in system settings and retry. Reminder titles and cylinder names may appear on the lock screen.
The iOS app is intended for every App Store country or region Apple permits GoodUse Studios to enable except China mainland. China mainland is excluded unless and until the required local filing is completed and accepted. Actual availability can still depend on App Store support, local requirements and the device.
On iOS, open Settings → Delete all data, enter the displayed confirmation word and confirm. This removes cylinders, suppliers, costs, activity, reminders and wallet preferences, cancels their pending local notifications and leaves an empty wallet. It does not reset the selected app language, remove the permanent purchase from the purchaser’s Apple Account, clear the device-only StoreKit entitlement cache, or delete exported copies, Apple backups, support messages or App Store records.
