ActionCam Link is designed to work without a developer account, advertising, behavioral analytics, or a WorksBien/GoodUse cloud service. WorksBien Studios Inc. does not automatically receive camera footage, camera commands, camera addresses, app activity, or purchase-card information from the app.
Information processed on the device
The app may process the following information locally to provide features you request:
- A private local IP address for a camera and an optional custom local preview URL.
- Camera status, protocol responses, firmware text that the app explicitly recognizes, and camera file paths.
- Photos and videos you choose to download from the camera.
- App preferences, StoreKit entitlement state, and local file modification dates.
- A compatibility report you explicitly create, containing app and device versions, the detected protocol, the camera’s private local address, recognized firmware information, and a note you enter.
Camera commands and downloads are restricted by the app to private local IPv4 addresses. Preview playback begins only from a validated local HTTP or RTSP address. Media you download is kept in the app’s on-device documents area until you export or delete it.
Information sent to WorksBien Studios Inc.
The app does not automatically send the information above to WorksBien Studios Inc. If you choose to share a compatibility report or contact support, the information you deliberately include is sent using the service or app you select. WorksBien Studios Inc. may use a support message and attachment only to answer the request, diagnose compatibility, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, private recordings, or information you do not want support personnel to receive.
Purchases
Apple processes the free 1-day Trial transaction, the separate lifetime purchase, restores, refunds, and revocations. WorksBien Studios Inc. does not receive your payment-card details. The app uses StoreKit’s cryptographically verified transaction information to decide whether paid features are available.
Third-party software
The app includes VLCKit from the VideoLAN project to render camera preview streams. The reviewed app source does not add analytics or advertising around VLCKit. The signed archive and dependency privacy manifests must be checked before each release.
Sharing and disclosure
WorksBien Studios Inc. does not sell or rent app data. Information voluntarily sent to support may be disclosed to service providers that process the selected email or support channel, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse.
Retention and deletion
On-device downloads remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior. The custom stream preference remains until you clear it or remove the app. StoreKit purchase history is controlled by Apple.
You can delete downloaded files from the on-device Library. Deleting an original from a camera is a separate, irreversible action and requires confirmation. To request deletion of information you deliberately sent to support, contact customer service and identify the relevant message.
Security
The app uses iOS file protection for its media directory, validates local network destinations, rejects cross-host HTTP redirects, limits control-response size, and verifies supported download signatures. No security measure can eliminate every risk. Camera firmware and the local network remain outside WorksBien Studios Inc.’s control.
Children
ActionCam Link is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly create child profiles or collect information from children through a developer account.
