Purchase support

Record, report and backup support

Promise records are local-first. Support cannot view or recover their content from a GoodUse Studios server. Before replacing a device or uninstalling the app, create and safely retain a backup using the app’s available export function. Test important exports before relying on them. Keep backups secure because they may contain information you entered or attached.

When reporting a defect, describe the steps, expected result and actual result. A redacted screenshot can help. Do not send complete reports, identity documents, account numbers, passwords or confidential supporting files unless specifically necessary and safe.

Contact scope

Support can help with app operation and reproducible defects. It cannot provide legal advice, determine whether a provider breached a promise, contact a provider for you or guarantee recovery of deleted local data.
