Heat-Press Safety Notice

PressBench is a workflow and recordkeeping utility. It does not inspect, connect to, measure, monitor, certify or control heat-press equipment. It does not measure actual platen temperature or pressure and does not determine whether an operator-entered setting is safe, compatible or effective.

Before every run

• Read and follow the current instructions, warnings, operating limits and maintenance requirements from the heat-press manufacturer.
• Verify current instructions for every transfer, ink, adhesive, blank, garment, substrate, accessory and protective material involved.
• Confirm material compatibility, equipment condition, electrical supply, clearances, ventilation, guarding, fire precautions, pressure, temperature, time, placement, cooling and peel method.
• Use appropriate training, supervision and personal protective equipment.
• Keep flammable and heat-sensitive materials away from the work area.
• Remain with operating equipment and use the machine’s approved controls and safety systems.

Saved records and demonstration data are not manufacturer instructions

A saved setup records what an operator entered or previously used. Materials, coatings, lots, equipment calibration, ambient conditions and manufacturer guidance can change. A prior successful result does not prove that the same setting is safe or correct for a later run.

For a user-created setup, a Proven label means only that PressBench recorded the number of issue-free operator runs required by the App’s internal status rule. It is not certification or validation by GoodUse Studios, a manufacturer, engineer, laboratory, regulator, customer or insurer.

The App may include demonstration machines, setups and results with example temperatures, times, pressures and quantities so the interface can be evaluated. These values are not recommendations or operating instructions. Independently verify and replace every value before production use.

Timers, sound and vibration

Any PressBench timer, sound, vibration or on-screen cue is a convenience aid, not a safety device. Device state, operating-system restrictions, volume, battery, process termination or software failure can delay or prevent a cue. Remain with the press and rely on the machine’s approved controls and workplace procedures.

Stop when uncertain

Do not continue if instructions conflict, equipment or material condition is uncertain, ventilation is inadequate, a safety device is unavailable, App data appears corrupted or stale, or the operator lacks required training. Stop safely and consult the relevant manufacturer, supplier, workplace safety lead or qualified technician.

For burns, fire, fumes, electrical incidents or other emergencies, follow workplace and equipment emergency procedures and contact the appropriate local emergency service. PressBench is not an emergency service.
