Operational and Safety Disclaimer for HVAC Restock
Effective: 6 September 2026
Applies to: HVAC Restock 1.0 for iPhone and iPad
HVAC Restock records and calculates information from user-entered item names, part numbers, categories, locations, quantities and restock levels. It does not inspect physical stock, scan or authenticate a part, diagnose equipment, contact a supplier, place an order, confirm delivery, or determine whether a part is correct, compatible, safe, approved or legally usable.
Not a professional or authoritative system
The App and its outputs are not:
- HVAC design, load-calculation, commissioning, diagnostic, engineering, electrical, refrigerant, environmental, code-compliance or safety advice;
- an accounting, purchasing, warehouse-management, audit, tax, warranty, certification or regulatory system;
- proof that an item exists, was used, stocked, ordered, received, installed, returned or paid for;
- an authoritative purchase order, work order, invoice, service record, refrigerant log, safety record or supplier statement; or
- a guarantee that the suggested quantity, restock threshold, replacement part or recorded location is correct.
Manufacturer documentation, equipment labels, physical inspection, approved parts lists, supplier confirmation, applicable codes and regulations, and qualified professional judgment remain authoritative.
Inputs and arithmetic
The suggested purchase quantity is the positive difference between the user-set restock target and recorded on-hand quantity. A low-stock flag compares recorded quantity with the user-set threshold. These calculations cannot make missing, stale, duplicated, mistyped or otherwise inaccurate inputs correct. Review the exact item, part number, specifications, compatibility, quantity, location, timestamp and supplier information before acting.
Safety-critical decisions
Do not rely on HVAC Restock alone for emergency, life-safety, electrical, combustion, pressure, refrigerant, environmental, regulated, high-value or business-continuity decisions. Follow lockout/tagout, personal protective equipment, refrigerant-handling, electrical, manufacturer, employer and legal requirements. Use qualified personnel and appropriate independent controls.
The complete Terms of Use apply. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes a statutory right, warranty, remedy or responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
