Operational Disclaimer for SupplyCheck
Effective: 21 August 2026
Applies to: SupplyCheck 2.0.0 on Android and iPhone/iOS
SupplyCheck is a local operational recordkeeping aid. It calculates and displays information from user-entered items, locations, minimums, counts, receipts, use, loss, notes, and corrections. It does not independently inspect stock, scan or authenticate a barcode or document, contact a supplier, verify that an event occurred, or determine what a person or business owes.
Not an authoritative or professional system
The App and its outputs are not:
- an accounting, purchasing, warehouse-management, audit, tax, legal, regulatory, quality-control, food-safety, product-safety, health, engineering, or inspection system;
- proof that goods exist, were received, used, lost, damaged, expired, ordered, returned, or paid for;
- an authoritative invoice, purchase order, delivery record, stock certificate, or supplier statement;
- advice about reorder quantities, safety stock, business continuity, tax, insurance, or legal obligations; or
- a guarantee that stock will be available or that a minimum level is appropriate.
Physical inspection, source records, contracts, labels, supplier confirmation, and qualified professional judgment remain authoritative.
Inputs and calculations
An unknown balance is deliberately different from a counted zero. Receive before the first Count remains in history but does not establish a known on-hand balance. Use and Loss require known stock and cannot make the projected balance negative. Count records the observed balance at that moment. A correction is a new linked Count with a reason; the earlier ledger entry remains unchanged.
These safeguards cannot make a missing, stale, duplicated, incorrectly located, mistyped, or otherwise inaccurate input correct. Units and minimums are selected by the user. Review the physical stock, location, unit, quantity, timestamp, note, correction target, and export before acting.
Decisions remain with the user
The user or organisation decides when to order, use, move, discard, quarantine, count, or rely on stock. Do not rely on SupplyCheck alone for urgent safety, regulated, high-value, medical, food, legal-compliance, or business-continuity decisions. Obtain qualified advice and maintain appropriate independent controls.
The complete Terms of Use apply. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes a statutory right, warranty, remedy, or responsibility that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
