Terms of Use for SupplyCheck
Effective: 21 August 2026
Applies to: SupplyCheck 2.0.0 on Android and iPhone/iOS
These Terms are between the person or organisation using SupplyCheck (“you”) and Lateef Razaq-Oyetola carrying on business as GoodUse Studios (“GoodUse Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App and consult the applicable store about any available remedy.
You must be legally able to enter these Terms. If you use the App for an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to do so, and “you” includes that organisation.
1. Licence and stores
Subject to these Terms and the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for lawful internal purposes on eligible devices associated with the purchasing account. The store’s standard end-user licence terms apply where required or where they provide additional mandatory rights.
Do not copy, resell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, defeat technical safeguards, interfere with the App or stores, or use the App unlawfully, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted.
2. Stock records and user responsibility
SupplyCheck is a local stock-recording aid. You control the names, quantities, minimums, locations, suppliers, notes, corrections, backups, exports, and device access. You are responsible for:
- entering only data you are authorized to process;
- checking physical stock and authoritative source records;
- maintaining appropriate device security and backups;
- reviewing quantities, units, locations, timestamps, and exports before relying on or sharing them;
- selecting authorized recipients and storage providers; and
- complying with applicable employment, privacy, tax, accounting, safety, records-management, and industry obligations.
A Receive before the first physical Count preserves an unknown balance. Use and Loss require known stock and cannot make the projected balance negative. Count replaces the projected balance with the observed amount. Corrections are new Count records and do not erase prior ledger entries.
3. Local-first operation and continuity
The App has no GoodUse Studios customer account or inventory synchronization service. Records may be lost through device loss, failure, reset, uninstall, storage corruption, or incompatible software. GoodUse Studios cannot retrieve content it never received. Platform backups and user-exported files are separate copies controlled through their respective destinations.
Android and iOS JSON backups use different versioned formats and are not interchangeable. CSV exports are readable records, not restorable backups. Test a restore process before relying on it for business continuity.
4. Purchases, updates, and availability
SupplyCheck is offered as a one-time paid app download. There is no SupplyCheck subscription, recurring SupplyCheck charge, free-use cap, in-app purchase, or in-app entitlement gate. The applicable store controls checkout, taxes, local currency, payment authorization, redownload eligibility, family or managed distribution, and refunds.
We may correct defects, update compatibility, change or discontinue features, or stop supporting older operating systems. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, indefinite store availability, or recovery of local data.
Authorized TestFlight or private debug builds may be supplied without charge for evaluation. They may expire, may be reset, are not a production purchase, confer no production-download entitlement, and must not be the sole repository for critical or live inventory.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the App to violate law or another person’s rights; introduce malicious code; probe or exploit security; misrepresent App outputs as independently verified; or place unlawful, unnecessary, or excessively sensitive personal information in stock notes or exports. Do not send live operational databases, backups, credentials, or payment-card information to ordinary support.
6. Intellectual property and feedback
The App, brand, design, and publisher-provided content are owned by GoodUse Studios or its licensors. You retain rights in data you enter. If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you allow us to use it without obligation, provided we do not claim ownership of confidential operational records.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. It is not an accounting, procurement, safety, regulatory, audit, tax, or legal system and does not independently verify physical stock or source documents. Review the Operational Disclaimer.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, statutory right, consumer remedy, or responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoodUse Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss; lost profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data; or decisions made from inaccurate, incomplete, stale, or user-entered records. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent the law permits. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other non-excludable liability.
9. Suspension and termination
Your licence ends if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. Termination does not automatically delete exported files, platform backups, store records, or support correspondence.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without overriding mandatory consumer or other protections that apply where you live. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear a dispute.

11. Changes to these Terms
Changes apply prospectively from the version date shown on the published page. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate App or store notice where required. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law; mandatory rights remain unaffected.
These web Terms supplement the store licence. App Store distribution uses Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless App Store Connect expressly identifies a compliant custom EULA.
